Temple Square

Last tuesday we went to Temple Square to see the lights.  The weather has been pretty amazing so I figured we better go before there is snow because then we usually end up not going.  We ate dinner at Cheesecake Factory in City Creek and then walked around the Temple grounds and went in the visitor center and saw the movie they show on the tour of the Saviour's birth.  This year we have tried talking a lot more to the kids about what Christmas is actually about.  Tage understands, not sure Cohen has any idea what Christmas even is yet.  Anyways, we love this time of year and have lots of fun things coming up!  So grateful for the birth of Jesus Christ and for what it means to me.

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with my family.  We have always gone to St. George every year since we have been married so it was nice to stay home and relax this year!  We started off the day doing our first 5k with the family.  We decided this was going to be a yearly thing it was so much fun.  We went running on a trail by Mike and Megan's house and then went back to their house to eat breakfast together afterwards.  Tage rode his bike and Mike pushed Cohen is the stroller and Mike and Tage won first place.
The weather was beautiful!  Hopefully it is this warm next time we have our 5k.
We all went home to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner and then headed back to my parents house.  Dinner was so good and we had such a fun and relaxing day.  We all have so much to be Thankful for. I am so thankful for our amazing families that we get to live so close to.

TJ and I both had the whole weekend off after Thanksgiving.  We did some shopping, went to the temple, saw Twilight, went to Chuck E Cheese, and ate out...pretty much every meal.  We had an awesome weekend off work and all spending time together.  Can't wait for Christmas now!

November

We went sledding a few times when we got snow a couple weeks ago and had a lot of fun.  Tage loves sledding and is a wild maniac on a sled.  He stands up and goes down 90 miles an hour.  Cohen is funny about the snow.  He thinks if anything ever get wet he needs to take it off.  So when it snows he takes off all his clothes because he doesn't  like to be wet.  I guess he would rather freeze to death then have snow on is jacket.  The first day we had snow he went up to his room and came down in his swim suit and pretty much wore it all day. Anyone who know Cohen knows that everything is a huge fight, so I figured instead of fighting about him wearing clothes all day long(which is a daily fight at our house) that I would let him wear his swimming suit.  I thought he would get cold and want clothes back on, but he never did all day long.  He is such a funny kid.
Last weekend we went to Scheels for the first time and the boys had a blast.  They have amazing fudge, and an awesome carousel and all kinds of cool things to look at.  It is the ultimate guys store and the boys loved it!

October/ Halloween/ Fall

Where to begin?  I am like 6 weeks behind on this thing!  We have had such a fun and busy fall and Thanksgiving season.  I October we went on a drive to Mueller Park in Bountiful and went on a beautiful hike one sunday afternoon.  The colors up there were amazing!  I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was, it looked like it came straight out of a book.

The last weekend of October we went to St. George with the Allen's for Thriller weekend.  They have a tradition they go to see the play Thriller once a year around Halloween.  It is super fun and is always a fun weekend.  We had Allen family pictures while we were down there that turned out super cute!
We took the kids to jumping jacks.  They love it.  This is probably one of the first times Cohen has actually played there and not been afraid.
On sunday afternoon Cindy had a Halloween party for the kids.  It was super cute.  They decorated pumpkins, and played Halloween games, and had a monster dance.  They all got to dress up in their costumes and had a blast.

Tage had 2 Halloween programs for school that were hilarious.  We also had a Halloween party with all the kids friends that ended up being a blast!  On Halloween we went trick or treating with Erin and Greg and Ellie.  We had such a busy October, it was full of lots of fun but I was glad to see it come to and end!

Family Night

Tuesday, TJ and Brindy came home and we had a lot of fun.  Brindy and I made a super good treats and then we went to the park.  The kids played for awhile and then they started running laps on the track at the park.  Of course that turned into a race, a race which Brindy,Tage and I won....TJ and Cohen lost.  Probably because TJ was holding Cohen while running haha.  We love tuesday night fun!

Train Ride to City Creek

We randomly decided to ride the train to City Creek on saturday after I got off work.  Brindy had never been on the Frontrunner so we thought it would be fun to ride it down.  We had a lot of fun picking out something from H and M and eating ice cream and pumpkin cheesecake!

Sunday Thanksgiving Dinner

On Sunday, we went to TJ's grandmas house for Thanksgiving dinner.  They go to Arizona in the winter so they usually have a dinner before they go to celebrate with all of us that live here.  The kids had so much fun playing in the leaves in their backyard with Jossie, and our first Thanksgiving dinner  with them was DELISH!  Can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner again!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today Tage had a field trip to Black Island Farms pumpkin patch for preschool.  He has done it the last 2 years in preschool and loves it so much.  We got to ride on a tractor, pick out a pumpkin, watch pigs race, play in a "corn box", jump in a bounce house, and go down some huge slides!  He had a blast!  He loves his friends in preschool to so he had fun running around with them.  That little girl is his "girlfriend" Evie.  They are so dang cute playing together. I love this fall time of year!

End of September and Conference Weekend

Cohen missed his nap one day because we were at the park for Tage's preschool field trip.  When we got into the car I gave him a chocolate chip cookie and within seconds he was asleep, didn't eat any of the cookie but was this dirty!  Silly Co.
Ellie and Cohen all snuggled up for a cool morning run!
Cousinly LOVE!  These kiddos sure love each other!
Cohen loves to take pictures with my phone.  Its his new favorite thing since he can see himself while he is taking the picture.  He asks me everyday to take some pictures with him and makes the funniest faces.
I love matching these boys.  I wish they could match everyday!!
 Soccer games every Saturday!
I went to Women's Conference with my mom and sister this year.  It was awesome with great talks.  Afterwards we went to Zupas for a delish dinner!
We were waiting in the parking lot to drop Brindy off and taking pictures and I told Brindy to do her sexy face, this is what it is!:)  Soooo funny!

Sexy hubs!
We let the kids get out and run around while we were waiting to drop off Brindy that same day and they were going crazy.  Cohen was doing somersaults on the cement and Tage, Cohen and Brindy were running around making funny faces and dancing.

Yesterday I had a color cancellation and got to go to breakfast with my boys!  I never have Saturdays off so it was fun to be able to see them for a couple hours.

Tj sent me this picture of Cohen yesterday on their way home from Brindy's soccer game.  Co will never wear his sunglasses the right way, he says they are wrong when they are on right.

We had the best weekend this weekend!  We watched Conference, ate lots of yummy food, went to the park, went on a pretty drive to Snow basin and walked around, and just hung out!  I LOVE conference weekend!

Family Pictures 2012

We just got new family pictures taken last sunday in Snow Basin.  I LOVE how they turned out.  It was so pretty up there too!  The kids were all really good, which says a lot for Cohen.  He usually cries the entire time. Love my cute family!
